I DREAD Weds!!!

Its tt time of the week again...I'm beginning to dread WEDNESDAYS!!! Its the time where I go down to CGH to conduct surveys...Basically, its a day that has been allocated for major project..It has gotten kinda draggy recently..I guess I memorised all the content of the tool kit that we need to teach the respondents..

Today, however, Sandy & I didn't make the trip down cos we decided to work on our data analysis..Working on it was certainly NO FUN!!!It got to a point where the both of us where tired and very tedious!!!Haiz...I just ask and pray that the Lord will grant me the ENERGY to persevere..I need to score an A for it...Kinda competitive you might say. Anyway, will write soon...

I Din Expect IT!!!

Had a club event yesterday...called Season Of Joy or SOJ for short..alan & I spend quite some time planning for this event and the planning started way back in october.It was supposed to be a CIP kinda event where we decided that we'll go to an old folks' home and spread the xmas joy with them.The day started with a skit performed by the club as well as a magic show by Eugene. This was ok. Next, it was followed by a handicraft session where each com member will be attached to an elderly to make the handicraft with them.I guess Murphy's law is right, "What u expect won't happen will happen." However, due to miscommunication, we ended up doing the handicraft for them and NOT with them...This was then followed by a vegetarian dinner at a restaurant at Kallang Walk. I didn't tried the food so, I can't comment on the taste!!(haha!!).

The part that alan and I didn't expect was when we were about to set of to view the lights at Orchard Rd. We were told by a manager, that 1 elderly was NOT on the bus, i counted my bus and the number tallied..Then, we were told by the restaurant that they saw an old man walking off to the bus stop at about 5plus..In mind, my thoughts raced,"Huh??!!!How can we find him? Its like an hour ago since he left!.." This was followed by a frantic search conducted by some com members.However, it turned out that we set out with 49 pple from the HOme and the lady that was supposed to be with us was ACTUALLY at the home..Thanks for that SCARE!!!

Anyway, a lesson that I took home after talking with Yanming was " Being able to troubleshoot during events is better than a great planner!" Anyway, will fill u in again.Till then, take care!!

Heya...Had been rather busy during the past 1 wk...
::MON:: Went to school to attend a meeting for an upcoming project that the studies club is having and I'm the co-organizer...

::WED to FRI:: Went down to CGH to carry out a pilot test for my questionnaire...Was really glad to be back at the department...Kinda had a nostalgic feeling...as if I had worked there for ages...[Haha!!;op]Anyway, the moment we (Sandy & I) entered the department, everyone knew we were back becos of the LAUGHTER that we shared with them..They said we were like the sunshine at the company and that we liven up the atmosphere..Haha...Glad to be remembered by the company in this manner..Anyway, after carrying out the questionnaire for 3 days, there are only minor changes that needs to be made..So, it is good.

::SAT:: Met Sophie, my very best friend from sec sch..Had the most fantastic memories with her.We walked from plaza singapura to far east plaza and then back to heeren..Can't count the amt of calories that we both burnt...It was GRREAT going out with her and I can't wait to go to her house next fri..

Hie!!!Today, I just got this surge to decide to call in to Perfect 10, the radio station that plays GRRREAT HITS!!!Anyway, I manage to call thru for the 1st time...Haha...Can u imagine that??!!Anyways, I'm now on clud 9...Haiz...Been a long time since I felt this way since I've been busy with Major Project, a module that's compulsory if we all wanna graduate!!

Yeah!!!Today, I received a call from 1 of the dietitians that I meet during my SIP. And guess what??? She called to find out if I was interested in helping out in her company that has just been established..Which means, when I graduate, I need not fret over finding jobs...Heee...Well, I must thank the Lord for giving me the opportunities!!!Thank you God...

It's Only thE bEgInnIng...

Haiz...Major Project has only started and I'm already beginning to feel tired...Could probably be due to the constant editing of my questionnaires bah...But, I'm glad that I've a GRRREAT partner!!!Sandy's TERRRIFIC...she has so MUCH ideas...sometimes, I feel that I'm very bad!!!Haha...Just pray that the Lord will provide me with strenght as I continue with Major Project...Hope that I'm able to do well too...*keeping my fingers crossed!!!*
