I'm held by your love
Im Held By Your Love - Sean Goh - New Creation Church Live Worship
I’m held by Your love written by Karen Lim, sang by Sean Goh.
I'm held by Your love,
Upheld by Your strength,
On Your shoulders You bore me,
By Your faith I stand.
Cherished by You, Lord,
Treasured in your sight,
So close to Your heart,
Held firm in Your hands.
So awesome is Your love,
So mighty is Your hand,
On eagle’s wings You carried me,
Your grace shall be my strength...
So perfect is Your love,
You sacrificed Your Son!
Amazing love reached out to me,
With joy to You I come.
Not by my wisdom,
Not by my strength,
Gently You guide me,
Lead me by hand.
Total surrender, Jesus I am Yours,
Now and forever,
In Christ, I now stand.
So awesome is Your love,
So mighty is Your hand,
On eagle’s wings You carried me,
Your grace shall be my strength…..
So perfect is Your love,
You sacrificed Your Son!
Amazing love reached out to me,
With joy to You I come
Enjoy!

Jesus - My Valentine
Anyway, at GenRev service yesterday, I was caught by surprised when Han, the emcee, read out my testimony. In fact, I did not even know whether the ministry received it since I never received any acknowledgment. Anyway, to bless the readers, here's the testimony that I submitted!
Dear Pastor Benjamin
I want to share with you, God’s super abounding favour in my career. During one of the caregroup (CG) session on 17 January, I had a prayer request for my application for a Sports Nutrition course.
In fact, I have been trusting God to be able to attend the course since last year. However, as I just entered the workforce and joined the department, I was not eligible for any course/conference sponsorship then. Nevertheless, I hung onto the hope that I will be able to pursue the course.the start of the year, I decided to check out details of the Sports Nutrition course, as my interest was re-ignited after my boss informed my colleagues and I that the hospital is expanding various medical specialities such as Sports Medicine. When I visited the Sports Dietitian Association’s website (which offered the Sports Nutrition course), I was elated as the course dates for 2009 will be in early May. I took a leap of faith and applied for the course while at the same time talking to my boss about the possibility of sponsoring the course. However, my boss mentioned that the hospital will at most, sponsor the course fees and I had to pay the rest of the expenses out of my own pocket. Deep within me, I muttered a silent prayer for DaddyGod to provide full sponsorship if He wanted me to attend the course. That week, while my CGL asked for prayer request(s), I submitted mine in.
Less than a week (on Thursday, 22nd January), I received an email from the course co-ordinator regarding the outcome of my Sports Nutrition course - my application has been accepted!!! And, I spoke to my boss that morning about the outcome of my application and enquired about the course sponsorship. She told me that the hospital will be sponsoring my course FULLY - with no bonds i.e. my course fees + accommodation + air tickets!!! AND, while speaking to my university friend that morning, I found out that she also applied for the same course and we will be going for the course together. I can't believe how blessed I am!!! Indeed, DaddyGod really answers our prayers exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think. And I thank the Lord for his super abounding favours.

Rejoice, O Barren!!
Rejoice, O Barren!
Galatians 4:27Barrenness. What a painful and frustrating condition. Yet, in Isaiah 54, God’s Word to those who are experiencing barrenness is to rejoice — “Sing O barren”!
27… “Rejoice, O barren, you who do not bear! Break forth and shout, you who are not in labor…
Why? Because in the previous chapter, it tells us that the chastisement for our peace fell upon Jesus. (Isaiah 53:5) The word “peace” here in Hebrew means completeness, soundness, health and prosperity. In other words, all these benefits are yours today because Jesus has already been punished at the cross for your peace. That is why you can start rejoicing.
So God wants you right now, in whatever area you are barren, to start rejoicing as if the fruit or yield you want to see has already come. He wants you to start thinking, speaking and acting as if the barrenness is no more.
If you are financially barren, start planning for what you would do when your finances increase. I am not saying that you go out and spend recklessly, but start making plans for wealth and increase. The time to do this is when you are still in what your natural eyes see as a barren stage.
You may say, “Pastor Prince, you don’t understand, the banks are chasing me!”
God says, “Rejoice because you are prosperous in Christ.” In Christ, you are already blessed with every spiritual blessing, including prosperity. (Ephesians 1:3) “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9)
If you are sick, start planning to do what you have not been able to do. Don’t rejoice only when the healing manifests and the pain is no more. Rejoice now in your healing because Jesus has already borne your diseases and carried your pains, and by His stripes you have already been healed. (Isaiah 53:4–5)
Whatever barren situation you are in, rejoice and tell God, “Father, because of the sacrifice of Your Son, I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. You have already given me everything. So I am going to act like it is so and rejoice!”
So, as it is preached, I am going to act like I am in love! Because I am in love with Jesus and those around me!
Ps: Just now, one of my demented ah ma thought I was pregnant because of my top that I wore. She started touching my tummy and pointed to the other patients that this is her grandson!! Sigh!!

Her Surprised Birthday
It started with my idea of doing a double celebration for CNY and Ivy's birthday as I though her birthday falls on 5th Feb only to be informed by her boyfriend and double-checking on facebook that her birthday is on 25th Feb. Nevertheless, being so far from her actual date, it made things easier since Ivy will not suspect a thing.
Thanks to technology, the other four were able to plan without getting the actual person involved, though I nearly gave the game away. I had to tell some lies along the way (God, forgive me!). Anyway, enough said, here's some pictures taken for sweet memories at Halia restuarant, Botanical Gardens.

What an experience!
Nevertheless, I am appreciative of the help and concern that my colleagues offered. Boss called up the head of A&E for me to be seen as soon as possible. When I arrived, the Nursing Manager/Clinician was there to help me. I did not have to wait very long to be seen by the doctor. I'm thankful that there wasn't too much emergency despite the high volume of people in the waiting area. In fact, the entire process took about 30minutes from registration to collecting my medication. I felt like I had priority and its amazing!
Anyway, to all concerned readers, I am still very much alive despite nursing a gastric flu. Its no fun at all!! And I want to be well soon!
