For those dear to me will be able to understand what a weakling I am when it comes to making decision about my life. As Kar Hian will say, "You very WEAK!"
I received some good news yesterday, depending on how others view it. Anyways, my lecturer announced that students doing the Bachelor course will be able to apply for honours next year. However, the criteria is purely based on a minimium GPA of 5 (highest GPA is 7) for year 3 subjects. As such, no matter how well you've performed for the last 2 years does not count (which is good cos I kinda screwed up last year!).
I've counted my semester 1's GPA and I'm abt a 5.33. I'm not sure whether I will be able to qualify for the programme considering the fact that they are alot of smarties in my course and yes, who ever said getting into these programmes are not competitive? I submitted my application today after a night's worth of consideration and advice from family and friends. Not hopeful that I will qualify. (No confidence lar!). Life is surely not a bed of roses but filled with thorns as well.
I have to agree what Phoebe say. We chose to come to Flinders because their programme gave us the opportunity to become a full-fledge dietitian when we graduate. Unlike the other unis that offer similiar nutrition & dietetics programme, students have to fight to get into the 4th year to become a dietitian. And whether or not we are successful in our application for the honours programme, it is just an added bonus because our ULITMATE AIM is to become a dietitian!
Lord, I just ask that this is part of the plan that you have for me. I pray and ask for your guidance. In His name, Amen.
