Having worked in the public health sector for close to 2 months, I can't help but wonder what I'm going do upon graduation. My deputy director once mentioned in passing that hopefully, I will join them upon graduation. I still remember my childhood (or should I say, adolescent? Since I decided on this career path when I was 14?) dream of becoming a dietitian. However, the longer I'm working at the Health Promotion Board, the more I am beginning to enjoy the work that I am doing, never mind the tight dateline and tonnes of research and reading.
Perhaps, I will only know whether its my calling when I graduate. Whatever comes my way, I will gladly accept it.
*Looks up and mumurs, "Lord, please guide me along the way and I pray that you will be able to show me the way. Amen."
