When Ur BEST isn't GOOD enough

"Beep beep!!"Handphones started to vibrate. Faces started to ashen as they worry about the type of results they would receive. Soon, there were faces of jubilation, worried ones, blank ones etc. At that time, I felt that all the butterflies in the world have flown into my stomach.I didn't sign up for the sms service to receive my results. I was scared. Not used to receiving it via sms. Can't imagine how I'll do...

My Academic Status: COMPLETED COURSE OF STUDY FOR THE DIPLOMA IN APPLIED FOOD SCIENCE & NUTRITION. Shouldn't I be happy? Despite reading this line, I feel that I have not performed as well as I expected myself. I got a C+ for ND, I have not received a C+ for the last 4 semesters other than in year1,sem1 for SFP. Other than that, the lowest I have ever gotten was a B. My goodness!!!My parents were glad that I had completed mycourse of study and am able to move on to the next phase in my life. I am rather apprenhensive about uni life, I do not know what to expect, how the australians will perform in their studies. Also, as I'm entering the 2nd sem of yr2 in Flinders University, people will look at you in a different way, expecting you to be good...I hate this type of pressure...meeting people's expectations and looking at you through stained glasses..Hmm..I only have to ask that the LOrd will be with me throughout every phase of my journey. Bless me dear Lord!

When the pressures of living
are starting to mount,
Take a good look around you,
at the thnigs that really count.
Warmer summer days,
the sweet smile of your child,
Seeing family and friends
from across the miles.
Find time to smell the roses
or enjoy a peaceful meal.
Spend the day with your Love,
flying kites in a field.
Life can't be just rainbows
as most of us know.
But with each new experience,
we strengthen and grow.
Since most of our days
do not go exactly as planned,
Take the bad with the good,
and do the best that you can.
