Year 2006

As the saying goes, "Time sure flies". Yes, I have to testify to that. Year 2006 came to an end yesterday at the stroke of midnight. I recall, just the beginning of this year that Year 2006 will be a challenging year for me. Firstly, I would be embarking on the 3rd year of my course, where I have heard "horror" stories of the many endless assignments and deadlines that one have to meet. At the end of it all, I can only let out a BIG SIGH and then say, "I DID IT!" I reckon all of my coursemates who made it through the challenging but yet fun year, deserve a a big pat on our back.

Secondly, I wondered how I would be able to get through the school year without the support of my family and friends with me. Well, as Sophie would put it, "Time flies and before you know it, you will be back in Singapore." How very true! The 9 months that I spent in Adelaide, made me learnt alot about myself as well as those around me. Friendships were rekindled and new ones were forged but of course, there were some that were let down.

Thirdly, Year 2006, gave me the opportunity to explore the land Down Under. Trips to Fleurieu Pennisular, Port Pirie, Melbourne and Flinders Ranges were some of the places that I visited.

Lastly, in the Year 2006, I also saw myself at cross-roads and relied heavily on the Lord's strength to guide me and see me through each obstacles that I met along the way. I am grateful that I've grown stronger in the Lord. Mutters, "Thank you Lord for all the things you have said and done."
