Our once a fortnight ji ji za za / support group is here again. Through this session, the 4 of us will meet at a designated eatery and whinge about anything and everything that happened at placement or try to iron things out to help each other to better improve for the weeks of clinical placement to come.
Last night, as we were talking, I noticed how far we have all come and I'm sure that the girls will notice that themselves too. From the first session, where we were whinging about placement site to our PEs to finding out how to improve our counselling skills to the type of case(s) that we get to some bitching. In just another couple of weeks, we will be done with clinical placement, moving on to another placement. I reckon this year, my learning curve has grown so much and at a rather steep pace as well. There is so much to learn and seek that I'm sure all this learning cannot be taught within a classroom setting.
