Ok, I am battling a sore throat, aching body with severe joint pain as I painfully type this post. Self-diagnosis - Jo is going to be down with the flu. I rarely get such severe body aches and joint pain when my body temperature is raging. Besides, this is a rather bad time to fall sick since my department is down with 2 colleagues - one is on leave while the other is nursing a severe flu/sinus inflammation. The situation does not help with HMDP starting tomorrow. I reckon I may have to give some lectures a miss. Oh well, as the saying goes, "it never rains but pours."
Despite all the pain that I'm suffering, I felt good for 15mins today. Bumped into Benny on my way home today and we took the train back together. Now, I believe that our eyes are the window to betrayal. On board the train, I notice that his pupils starting dilating as he talked to me. We talked about mundane stuff - Hong Kong dramas, my chinese and potency of medications, all within the span of 15mins.
Ahh..the medicinal feeling of love. Anyway, I should retire for the night after popping couple of paracetamol and thinking of him, in hope of chasing the fever and body aches away.
