As I celebrated my birthday yesterday, I stopped to ponder and wonder whether I have grown another year older (definitely! The numbers don't seem to stop getting bigger!) and wiser (Hmm?!).
This year has indeed been a steep learning curve for me as I take that big step and enter into the working world. Learning to see cases on my own, making my own clinical judgment, forging new friendships, learning to work alongside with every one else on the team and of course, continuing to improve my clinical knowledge.
I reckon, the best present that I can ever receive is the genuine love that I receive from my Daddy God, my family and close friends. Seriously, I'm over that stage about the number of birthday present(s) that I will receive (although its nice to receive present(s)!). A simple phonecall, text/ facebook message or a handshake/hug is enough to bring a smile to my face. Besides, only people close to you will remember your birthday right?
Thanks to everyone who remembered my special day and kudos Soph, for the decade of friendship and counting! There has never been a dull moment whenever time is spent with you. Gatzoya!
