All in the line of Sales

As the saying goes, "The customer is always right", how very true this saying has been so far!Every Those in the service line will certainly agree because in every service sector, there is this monster and it starts with C in the retail line...U've guessed it..its CUSTOMERS. Then, its called by different names in different service sectors like patients in hospitals, audience for orchestra, guests in hotels, passengers in airlines etc..After working for Robinsons for 5 days as a Sales Associates, I'm beginning to be more appreciative of the staff and the service that they try to provide..These people really try to go beyond their call of duty to ensure that the customers leave with a good impression of the company. Of course, there is that 1% known as the black sheeps.

After working for 5 days, my entire body's working from head to toe. Carrying the numerous suits, arranging the pants according to the sizes, cuts and colour, carrying the new stock, steaming the pants..wow..alot of work for my lazy body which has not been exercising since I don't know when..but,I actually enjoy being busy rather than pretending to be busy as my legs ache if I stand too long, that's why, if you guys ever spot me, I'm always walking around..Haha..The colleagues at my department are cool with all the promoters. They are helpful especially since this is my first time doing sales and cashiering..Of course, I've made mistakes here and there, but they are quite tolerant..Haha..But I guess, as time goes by, they will expect me to know every well almost everyting..Anyway, I am enjoying my job. I'm glad that I am given the opportunity to be in sales since when I graduate with a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, I hope with the sales experience, I am able to better relate to patients requiring dietary advice.

Despite having a job to keep me busy, I am still worrying about that scholarship. I wonder whether I will get it or not. The suspense is killing me. I just hope that MOH will notify me despite the good or bad news. In the meantime, I'm praying very hard for the scholarship. Pls pray for me my friends. In the meantime, chill out...
