Cupid's arrow

"Love is in the air..." sings one of my colleague, every morning for the past week since my dinner date. And, I get so much teasing despite being at the department for couple of months. Period.

Anyway, my dinner date was fantastic and I got to learn more about him - he drives (YIPPEE!), can cook (which is fantastic!), does the housework (another + point), knows what he wants to achieve in life. The more he talks, the more I find myself fantasizing. Oh dear!!!I wonder if I'm really falling in love. ARGH!

The very mention of his name, brings a smile to my face and an adrenalin rush. Is this love? Every night as my head hit the pillow, I close my eyes and pray to the Lord, asking Him if he is the one for me? If meeting him is part of the plan and that he will be the one who I will be spending the rest of my life with? Then I ask the Lord that he has the values that I ask for - the guy has to be God-fearing, provide stability - emotionally, spiritually and financially and to love me as much as he loves God.

Back to reality, I need to find out if he likes me too. I always believe that I will not go into a relationship with a guy unless he will be the one that I will be spending the rest of my life with. Otherwise, why waste time? Anyway, my colleague asked me to check out his body language when talking to me and to observe his pupils as he talks to me. If his pupils dilate while talking to me, it means that he has some sort of liking for me. You know, God created human beings in a very smart way - by giving us HORMONES! Anyway, the hormone that is being released when one feels loved is the same one as eating chocolate which causes dilation of pupils - tried and tested by my colleague and me.

Test:
You have to do this a rather well-lit place, preferably natural sunlight and just observe his/her pupils as he talks to you (Please don't stare!). If there is dilation, it means (s)he has liking towards you. If there is no change, oops, sorry! Try it out!

Till the next post!
